It was a hard couple of days, but we just shipped the new Zune Client. It is available for free download at social.zune.net. If you are interested in listening to music or watching videos via digital media, it's a good place to go.
So, I guess the details are more on the site, but you can use the software to manage your media collection and subscribe to pod casts... if you get a zune it is the tool you need... plus you can buy digital media with it.
So... Monday night was a hard shift to work; both for Jaani and I. I left the house at 7... worked 8 hours... then went home for 5 hours... finally I went back to work for another 10 hours... By the time I got home it was 9 am tuesday morning. I slept for 4 hours, and took the day off to rest... I went to sleep tuesday night around 1 o 2... then the fire alarm in my building went off at 4AM! I got up grabbed Jaani, my wallet/keys/phone/watch from the night stand, then ggrabbed my shoes coat and backpack on my way out... Jaani and I went down the stairs and outside. I went outside, and found everybody from the building, and a fire truck all in front of the building.
I was relieved to find that nothing was actually on fire. It was a surge in water pressure that triggered the fire alarm. Although it is good to know that I had grabbed just about anything I would need from my apartment.
So yesterday was still a hard work day. (because I was tired) I slept a lot yesterday evening, and woke up at a comfortable time his morning. (because I went to bed with the sun)
Also today was our release party; to celebrate the occasion we had a party at a bowling alley with an open bar! It was pretty sweet. Now, everything is out, and we are on to the next project.
I started working on Test Automation coding. In a way I am creating scripts to replace myself. This way I can run the scripts on multiple machines to get more done every day.
Anyway... I need to get to bed.
I just wanted to post a bit of an update.
